RESTART was created in 2009 to help London’s homeless break the cycle of homelessness, to move from the streets, confront the issues obstructing their futures and return to society, feeling more empowered and resilient.

The Isobel Award was launched in 2019 to celebrate those who have faced challenges and not only risen to meet them but who have excelled and brought meaningful positive change in their wake.

The breakfast bothy launched in the spring of 2021 and provides those in need of a hot breakfast, tea, coffee, chat from our lovely yellow police box on Melville Drive in the Meadows area of Edinburgh. Breakfast and lunch is served Monday to Friday from 9am - 1pm.
