Pride celebrated in style at Edinburgh Street Food
In June, our seven-day-a-week street food market, Edinburgh Street Food, welcomed hundreds of Pride marchers through their doors for a jam-packed weekend of great tunes, great food, great drinks.Â
The colourful event raised funds for LGBT Health and Wellbeing, an incredible Scottish charity supporting LGBTQIA+ adults with wellbeing services across Edinburgh, Glasgow and online. For every customer donation throughout the weekend, ESF donated ÂŁ1 too.
Traders at Edinburgh Street Food got on board, creating specialty Pride-themed menus:
Tokyo Karrage Rainbow Burrito
A vibrant fusion that celebrates love in every layer. Harajuku’s blue nori wrapped around sushi rice, crisp slaw, cucumber, tomato, and golden karaage chicken. Bold, beautiful, and full of pride.
Pride Cookie
Pride is a celebration, so SoftCore have turned American birthday cake into a cookie: Madagascan vanilla dough, Belgian white & caramelized chocolate chunks, and rainbow sprinkles.
Rainbow Bao
Bundits’ signature fluffy bao, bursting with coconut and chocolate custard.
Rainbow Nachos
Antojitos’ blue and yellow corn tortillas with pineapple & jalapeno salsa, Ch*kn Al Pastor, guacamole, pomegranate seeds and pink onions
Pink Pony Club
Standing tall and proud, the Pink Pony Club is a refreshing mix of gin, strawberry shrub, elderflower, lemon & soda.
