And the Sustainability Entrepreneur of the Year Award goes to…

At the prestigious Great British Entrepreneur Awards event in London this November, an event also known as The Grammys of Entrepreneurship, Andrew Marshall was named Scotland’s Sustainability Entrepreneur of the Year 2025.

The awards night celebrates the most exceptional and inspiring business stories across the UK, with entrepreneurs from every nation and region recognised for their innovation, impact and resilience.

About the Sustainability Entrepreneur of the Year Award

In the Sustainability Entrepreneur of the Year category, the judges were looking for entrepreneurs who are champions of positive change, driven by a deep commitment to creating a greener and more equitable world. Each of the finalists harness their passion for environmental and social well-being to develop businesses that prioritise eco-friendly practices, ethical sourcing, and responsible consumption. With an unwavering focus on both profitability and planetary health, they’re the change-makers who are proving that business can be a force for good.

Andrew’s business journey and ambition for Carlowrie Group impressed the judges. Taking a big-picture approach to making a positive impact, Andrew shared how he went from starting his first business in his early twenties to creating an ecosystem of businesses and charities that support each other to make a real difference for the community, the environment, and the economy.

How Carlowrie Group embodies the values of the award
